June 2022 Update: All Sygna products are now ISO 27001 certified.

This includes Sygna Bridge (received certification in April 2021) as well our integrated modular compliance platforms Sygna Gate (browser-based and automated) and Sygna Hub (streamlined dashboard and manual control).

Introduction

Sygna Bridge, CoolBitX’s market-ready FATF Travel Rule compliance solution that helps virtual asset service providers (VASPs) meet their anti-money laundering (AML) obligations, has been recommended by SGS Taiwan, a leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, for the ISO/IEC 27001 certification, a globally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)

2. What is ISO/IEC 27001?

The ISO 27001 is an international standard created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to mandate numerous controls for the establishment and maintenance of an ISMS. It ensures organisations have established methodologies and frameworks in place to manage and minimise risks to the security of information.

Sygna Bridge underwent a rigorous audit process, conducted by an independent and accredited third-party security auditor to achieve the certification.

Why Sygna Bridge adopted ISO/IEC 27001

As a global blockchain security company working with some of the world’s largest VASPs, we understand the importance of data protection and compliance, and are committed to upholding international best practices to safeguard our clients’ interests.

The new recommendation by such a respected global certification giant not only reinforces Sygna Bridge’s industry-leading cybersecurity standards, it also reflects our ongoing efforts to deliver secure and user-friendly software products to our clients.

What clients can expect

Pursuant to this certification, Sygna Bridge will become the first FATF Travel Rule’ compliance solution provider for crypto assets to be certified in information security.

VASPs adopting Sygna Bridge can be assured of CoolBitX’s prioritization of security management as well as its transparent approach to information security — all while complying with the respective national regulatory requirements (Korea particularly) set forth by the FATF Recommendation 16.
